Registration agreement
Workshop Terms
These terms apply when you register for or participate in Build With AI: Austin, presented by GetSpiffy.ai.
Effective July 29, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
Esquaria LLC, based in Austin, Texas, operates GetSpiffy.ai and Build With AI: Austin. In these terms, “GetSpiffy,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Esquaria LLC doing business as GetSpiffy.ai.
By purchasing a seat or participating in the workshop, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. If you register for an organization or another attendee, you confirm that you have authority to do so and will provide these terms to the attendee.
2. What your registration includes
A $250 registration includes:
- One two-hour, in-person Build With AI: Austin workshop.
- One one-hour Monday virtual group office hour.
- One one-hour Wednesday virtual group office hour.
- The workshop planning worksheet, starter prompt, build checklist, and provided resources.
- Live troubleshooting and feedback during the scheduled group sessions.
The dates, times, registration deadline, location area, and exact checkout total are shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, times are measured in Austin, Texas time. The final venue and parking instructions will be sent to registered attendees before the in-person session. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, one registration covers one attendee and quantities are limited by the listed capacity.
3. Payment and taxes
Payment is due at registration and is processed by Stripe. Any applicable tax will be disclosed at checkout. Your seat is not confirmed until Stripe reports a successful payment. You are responsible for providing accurate registration and billing information.
4. Minimum enrollment
Each workshop requires at least four paid attendees by its published registration deadline. If that minimum is not reached, the workshop will not proceed and every registered attendee will receive a 100% refund to the original payment method. We will issue organizer-required refunds within five business days. Bank and card processing times may affect when the refund appears.
5. Attendee cancellations and transfers
To receive a full attendee-requested refund, email hello@getspiffy.ai at least 72 hours before the scheduled in-person workshop start time, measured in Austin, Texas time. Requests received later than that are not refundable, except where required by law or where the minimum-enrollment or organizer-cancellation provisions apply. We will issue approved refunds to the original payment method within five business days; your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post them.
You may transfer your entire registration to another adult before the workshop starts by emailing the replacement attendee’s name and email address. The replacement attendee must accept these terms and meet the workshop requirements. A registration cannot be divided among multiple people, and a transfer does not create an additional seat. Failure to attend all or part of the in-person workshop or an office hour does not create a refund, credit, private make-up session, or replacement office hour.
6. Organizer cancellation or rescheduling
If GetSpiffy cancels a workshop, registered attendees will receive a full refund to the original payment method, issued within five business days. If GetSpiffy materially reschedules the in-person workshop, including because of severe weather or another safety issue, registered attendees may accept the new schedule or request a full refund by the deadline in the rescheduling notice. We may adjust an office-hour time or delivery link when reasonably necessary and will notify affected attendees.
7. What you must bring
You are responsible for bringing:
- A working laptop and charger.
- A modern web browser and the ability to access your email.
- An active paid ChatGPT or Claude subscription.
- Your own accounts, permissions, content, and sample information needed for your project.
Your registration does not include third-party subscriptions, hosting, domain names, software, API usage, or other costs unless expressly listed. Third-party products have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and pricing. Contact hello@getspiffy.ai before the workshop to request accessibility accommodations. We will make reasonable efforts to address requests, subject to venue and technical constraints.
8. Safe and appropriate project data
Do not submit or use confidential customer records, passwords, API keys, payment-card data, medical information, financial records, government identifiers, regulated data, unlawful content, or information you lack permission to use. Use sample or synthetic data for prototypes. You remain responsible for your content, accounts, access permissions, and compliance obligations.
This is a group workshop. Other attendees may see or hear what you share. Attendees agree not to copy or disclose another attendee’s non-public project information, but GetSpiffy cannot guarantee that other attendees will keep information confidential. Do not present anything you are not comfortable sharing with the group.
9. Educational scope and no guaranteed result
The workshop provides education, group guidance, and feedback. It does not include private consulting, custom development by the instructor, unlimited support, legal advice, tax advice, a production security review, or ongoing hosting and maintenance.
AI tools can produce incorrect, insecure, incomplete, or infringing output. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and obtaining appropriate professional advice before using workshop output in a real business or with real users. We do not guarantee completion, revenue, business results, or a secure or production-ready application.
10. Ownership and permitted use
As between you and GetSpiffy, you retain ownership of the original project, content, and work product you create, subject to the rights and terms of any AI or third-party tools you use. You grant GetSpiffy only the limited permission needed to review and discuss materials you voluntarily share during the workshop.
GetSpiffy retains ownership of its curriculum, slides, worksheets, templates, demonstrations, branding, and other workshop materials. Your registration gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use provided materials for your own learning and internal business work. You may not resell, publish, distribute, record, or use the workshop materials to teach a competing workshop without written permission.
11. Photos, recordings, and testimonials
Attendees may not record the workshop or other attendees without permission. GetSpiffy will request affirmative permission before publicly using a recognizable photo, recording, attributed testimonial, project details, or identifying information from an attendee. Declining promotional permission will not affect your ability to participate. Group office hours will not be recorded unless we provide advance notice and obtain any required consent.
12. Conduct
Treat attendees, venue staff, and the instructor respectfully. Do not disrupt the workshop, harass others, access systems without permission, or share another person’s private information. GetSpiffy may remove someone whose conduct creates a safety, privacy, security, or material disruption risk. A removal for serious misconduct does not require a refund, except where required by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetSpiffy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the workshop, third-party tools, or your use of workshop output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetSpiffy’s total liability for a claim related to a registration will not exceed the amount you paid for that registration. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Governing law and disputes
Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you and GetSpiffy agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue by email. Any court proceeding that is not eligible for small claims court must be brought in a state or federal court serving Travis County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. General terms
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, the checkout details, and the Privacy Policy form the agreement for the workshop registration.
We may update these terms for future registrations. The version in effect when you purchase governs that registration unless a change is required by law or you agree to it. Questions may be sent to hello@getspiffy.ai.
