We will reduce your idea to something realistic enough to build and test — who it's for, what problem it solves, what the user should do, which screens are required, and what's out of scope.

See how an idea becomes a prompt, how the AI produces an initial result, and how to correct the result when it goes in the wrong direction.
Build your own product
Begin building while receiving live help and short lessons throughout the session.
Test and improve it
Test the main workflow, fix the most important issue, and prepare a shareable preview.
Return for office hours
On Monday and Wednesday evening, bring your questions, bugs, design decisions, and unfinished work back to the group.

Patrick has worked in technical customer-facing and product-education roles at Google, Coinbase, and Base, spanning sales engineering, solutions architecture, and developer advocacy.
He has led technical workshops, supported builders through hands-on office hours, judged more than 200 technical projects, and created tutorials, demonstrations, applications, AI agents, and practical product experiences.
Today, he is building AI products and helping businesses understand how to use AI to turn ideas and repetitive processes into useful tools.
His teaching approach is practical: explain enough to understand what is happening, then begin building.

Good to know before you register
What does the $200 ticket include?
Your ticket includes 4 hours of live, hands-on access: a two-hour in-person workshop, one one-hour Monday evening office hour, and one one-hour Wednesday evening office hour. It also includes the planning worksheet, starter prompt, build checklist, and workshop resources.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The workshop is designed for people without traditional programming experience.
Do I need a paid AI subscription?
Yes. You must have an active paid ChatGPT or Claude subscription before the workshop.
What will I select during registration?
You will choose one of three project lanes: marketing product, customer-facing tool, or internal business tool. This helps the instructor understand what the cohort wants to build before the workshop.
Will I finish my entire application?
You will work toward a functional first version. More complex products will require additional work after the workshop.
Can I build something for my existing business?
Yes. Business owners can build simple customer-facing tools, internal tools, intake experiences, calculators, landing pages, or prototypes.
What happens if fewer than four people register?
This workshop requires at least four paid attendees. If four paid seats have not been reached by the registration deadline, the workshop will not proceed and every registered attendee will receive a 100% refund.
Are the office hours private?
No. They are shared small-group sessions where attendees can ask questions, troubleshoot, and receive feedback.
Can I use private customer information?
No. Use sample information during the workshop. Applications involving sensitive information, payments, authentication, or regulated data require additional security and engineering work.
What is the cancellation policy?
Registrations may be transferred to another person. Refund requests should be submitted at least 72 hours before the workshop. The minimum-enrollment guarantee remains separate: if fewer than four paid seats are reached, every attendee receives a 100% refund.

The workshop will be held at a professional meeting space in Central Austin, Texas. The exact address and parking instructions will be sent to registered attendees.
