How it works

You'll be hands-on the whole time. Short explanations, then real building on your own work.

  1. 01

    Identify the business decision

We begin with the team, workflow, or leadership question, not with a predetermined tool.

  2. 02

    Choose a bounded engagement

Together we determine whether a private class, leadership briefing, or scoped pilot is the right next step.

  3. 03

    Work with appropriate data

Training and pilots begin with sample, synthetic, or otherwise approved information. Sensitive or regulated uses require additional review.

  4. 04

Leave with a clear next move

The engagement ends with practical guidance, documented decisions, or a defined pilot outcome, not an open-ended promise.

Patrick "Pat" Hughes

Google · Coinbase · Base · Vercel

Pat has worked in technical customer-facing and product-education roles at Google and Coinbase (including Base), spanning sales engineering, solutions architecture, and developer advocacy. Throughout his career, he has supported builders and founders, from hands-on technical workshops to one-on-one office hours.

His teaching approach is practical: explain just enough to understand what is happening, put it to work hands-on, and have fun doing it. Every question is welcome, and he keeps the room a safe place to ask it.

Leadership FAQ

Questions worth resolving early

Does our team need a technical background?

No. The material is designed to make AI understandable to business leaders and working teams. We will identify any tool or account prerequisites before an engagement begins.

Can we use confidential company data?

Do not send confidential, customer, regulated, or production data during an initial inquiry. Training and early pilots should use sample, synthetic, or specifically approved information. Higher-risk uses need a separate security and compliance review.

Is this training or consulting?

It can begin as either. A private class builds shared understanding; a leadership briefing supports a decision; a workflow pilot tests one bounded use case. The discovery conversation determines the appropriate scope.

What happens on the first call?

We discuss the audience, the business problem, current AI experience, data constraints, and what a useful outcome would look like. If ATX Workshops is not the right fit, the call still ends with a clearer next step.
